Katrina: An AVOIDABLE Disaster!

This information will remain until New Orleans’ residential areas return back to human and living conditions. Still in shock that every childhood memory, including grandparents’ home, is gone, AS WELL AS families displaced and dispersed across the country, having to start anew after years of paying for private education, paying taxes, paying for insurance and MORE.

Katrina Poll: Who Screwed Up?

Thanks to our troops for their tremendous efforts with search and rescue after Hurricane Katrina. Citizens of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama will forever be grateful.

Prayers and love for survivors and victims and for all those involved in the rescue, recovery and rebuilding efforts.

And to any misinformed newscasters: This is my hometown. New Orleans ISN’T just a poor black community. There are a large number of middle to upper class neighborhoods, like the one I grew up in and visited other friends and family in. These areas were also devastated or completely wiped out after the levees collapsed. These areas housed the same people who passed on the traditional values which made New Orleans one of the most visited places on the face of the earth, a place that many couldn’t wait to visit for the first time and kept coming back.

Regarding the snipers and looters of jewelry and other non-necessities: these people DO NOT in any way represent the mentality and traditional values of New Orleans. One common value passed on is “if I have, you have, if you’re in need, I’m there”, therefore, no need to act without faith because your family will always be there to take care of you. If we could get rid of the valueless degenerates, including misguided media members who have even made “christians” turn a blind eye to New Orleans, we would, and then sit down and have a big party – New Orleans style with umbrellas, second line and all!
